PWL-05-25 ON 45* OFF 57* 25 foot Pirit Series II Heated Hose - The PIRIT Series II Heated Hoses solves a myriad of problems for anyone who needs to deliver water outdoors in below freezing temperatures. Farmers who need to water livestock, horse owners, gardeners, RV owners, and outdoor contractors are only a few of the potential users of PIRIT Heated Hoses. PIRIT Hoses have electrical cord sets attached to them which, when plugged in, activate the heating element which is built into the hose material. All PIRIT Heated Hoses are made with PVC material which is FDA-approved for potable water, knit-re-enforced and made with high-quality nickel-plated brass fittings. These cold weather water hoses are thermostatically controlled and will turn on when temperatures are below 45 degrees F, off when temperatures are above 50 degrees F. Pirit Hoses have been tested to -42 degrees F (-41 degrees C). These hoses all come with a grounded power supply, protective bend restrictors at both ends, a new tougher thermostat, and an abrasion resistant cover. Heater wires are extruded directly into the hose walls for uniform heating and unrestricted water flow. Keeps water from freezing down to minus 42 degrees F. Draws only 180 Watts, 1.5 Amps, 120 Volts, 60 hertz. Certifications: UL listed, MET approved, FDA approved materials. 1 Year Warranty. Dimensions: 5/8 inch in diameter x 25 feet Long. 1 per package.
