Trailer Safety Chains are required in most states to secure the trailer to the tow vehicle in the event the trailer coupler comes off of the ball. Constructed of low carbon steel this comes with 1 clevis hook on 1 end and a latch on the other end. All types of trailers with a GVWR of over 5,000lbs and not to exceed 10,000lbs are considered Class 4 and up. 2 chains must be used per trailer. 16,200lbs Gross Vehicle Weight. Dimensions: 3/8 inch in diameter x 36 inch Long. 1 per package.
