Item Description

5831 Off-white, non-hardening, elastic trimmable butyl tape. This material increases in adhesion with age after application assuring a long lasting seal. Ideal for rubber roofs. Provides excellent sealing adhesion to any type of metal, wood, concrete, glass, plastics, and porous surfaces. Can be used under mouldings, around windows, doors, and vents. Can be trimmed easily with any stiff, pointed non scratching object. Can be pressed and formed to obtain a water and air tight seal. Recommended temperatures are between -30 F degrees and 200 F degrees. Best results if applied at room temperature on dry materials. Off-White in color. Dimensions: 3/4 inch Wide x 1/8 inch thick x 30 feet Long. 1 Year Shelf Life.
