This is a non-powered vent with a self-centering device that eliminates installation guess work and assures perfect alignment in the roof opening. Attractive radius corners are standard, as is the screen which allows air through while keeping insects out. It has a positive-seal weather stripping that is leak resistant and water tight along with a unique hinge system that allows the lid to be attached without the need of hinge pins, thus minimizing the number of parts exposed to weathering. The 1 piece seamless frame has a deep drawn painted metal base and the acrylic, UV resistant, translucent lid conforms to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 205. The injection molded telescoping garnish accommodates a variety of roof thicknesses. Simply hand crank to open and close lid securely.
